With thousands of miles of worn out underground gas, fresh water supply,
surface water drainage and foul water disposal pipes world-wide, the
need for minimal disruption when replacement or upsizing is becoming
ever more essential. These worn out pipelines can be replaced and
upsized with a variety of new pipeline products from Underground Systems.
The major advantage of Underground Systems Pipe Cracking machines
is that sections of pipelines up to 300mtrs in length can be replaced
at any one time. The old worn out pipe is fractured and displaced
into the surrounding ground and new pipeline pulled in behind simultaneously.
Pipe sizes from 2" (50mm) up to 400" (1000mm) diameter
can be considered for this technique.
