Based on our customers project needs and coupled with our years of
experience we are able to chose suitable
equipment based on specification, quality of build and acceptable
economics.
Examples of "Other equipment":
PNEUMATIC MOLES
Ideally suited to relatively short horizontal crossing of roads,
ditches, driveways, gardens where traditional open cut excavation
would be too disruptive or expensive. Launched from excavations
at each end of the crossing the mole will bore a new hole, in a
straight line without disruption. Diameters can be from typically
45mm up to 200mm.
PILING MACHINES
Utilising our Pneumatic Moles for vertical works rather than horizontal
bores. The mole is used to insert steel casing vertically into the
ground, usually for Geo-Technical stabilisation of foundations or
surrounding ground. The mole inserts the steel casing of diameters
100m to 200mm to depths of 10-12 metres.
TUNNELLING EQUIPMENT
This equipment can carry out long very accurate bores mainly suited
to gravity sewer requirements. In many cases this equipment can
be steerable. Typical diameters are 250mm up to 200mm.
DIRECTIONAL DRILLING
This equipment is now the lifeblood of the general contractor, mainly
suited to service installations, it is a steerable boring system
not as accurate as tunnelling, and used for telecom, water, gas
installations. Diameters range from 75mm up to 1000mm.
LATERAL PIPE REPLACEMENT:
This is a pipe bursting (cracking) system that utilises a powerful
winch to carryout small diameter sewer connection replacement to
houses. Ideally suited where these connections are relatively deep
in cold climates.
